Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Samado (“Samado”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Samado mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

The App is operated by FAYHE LLC. For any privacy question, contact us at samado@fayhe.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data: the information you provide to create and use your account, such as your name, email, and the basic profile details you enter (for example your running level and training goals).
  • AI coach interactions: the messages you send to the in-app AI coach and the context needed to generate a response.
  • Usage and diagnostics data: data about how you interact with the App (such as the screens you visit and the features you use), crash logs and similar diagnostics, and basic device information — so we can improve the App and fix bugs.

3. How we use your information

  • To create and adapt your personalized training plan and paces.
  • To power the AI coach and its real-time guidance.
  • To operate, secure, debug, and improve the App.
  • To understand how you interact with the App, diagnose crashes, and improve it (analytics).
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. AI coach

When you interact with the AI coach, your messages and the necessary training context are sent to our cloud backend and a third-party AI model provider to generate a response. We do not use the content of your conversations to advertise to you, and we do not sell it.

5. Health & fitness data

Samado does not store your detailed health and fitness data (such as heart-rate samples or GPS routes) on our servers: it stays on your device. Completing a workout is reported to our analytics as a feature-usage event with basic summary figures (such as distance and duration) — we do not use analytics to analyze your runs, and this data is never sold or used for advertising.

6. Analytics & crash reporting

We use PostHog as our analytics provider to understand how you interact with the App and to improve it: which screens and features are used and where something goes wrong. When the App crashes, crash logs are sent to Sentry, our crash-reporting provider, so we can find and fix the bug. Analytics is not used to analyze your runs or your training. Events are associated with a user identifier when you are signed in, and this data is not sold and is not used to advertise to you.

7. Service providers we share data with

We share data only with processors that help us run the App, under appropriate safeguards, including cloud hosting and backend infrastructure providers, a third-party AI model provider (for the AI coach), an analytics provider (PostHog), a crash-reporting provider (Sentry), and Apple (for subscriptions). We do not sell your personal data.

8. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/EEA under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email samado@fayhe.com. You can also request account deletion at any time.

10. Children

The App is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
